Role description

Provide deep technical engineering expertise to internal resources and customers from product specification, design, installation, replacement/repair, and problem resolution resulting in best-in-class customer experience within assigned Industry Segment(s). The person will be dedicated to the task full time (100%).

Key responsibilites

  • Train, support and collaborate with Sales, Customer Care, and Portfolio & Technology Development in identifying customer needs and innovative solutions fulfilling technical and application-related specifications considering sustainable total cost of ownership (STCO).
  • Attain and maintain deep industry knowledge of belting/conveying solutions, products & services, and customer applications in assigned industry segment(s).
  • Support and provide application engineering training for internal resources and customers.
  • Leverage all available systems (CRM, ERP, etc.) to capture, track and manage customer issues, commercial activities, and problem resolution.
  • Maintain knowledge of internal products, services, and updates and stay informed about competing products and services.
  • Work with Operations (fabrication & assembly) to identify and resolve any customer-related challenges and/or sales opportunities.

  • Required – Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Related Fields.
  • Required – Minimum 3 years’ experience in Engineering and B2B industrial applications.
  • Required – Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Required – Proficiency in English both written and verbal.
  • Required – Experience in IT systems (CRM, SAP, ERP, MS Office, etc.).
  • Preferred – Operation experience (manufacturing, fabrication, assembly, etc.).
  • Preferred – Prioritization, organization, and time management skills.
