Habasit skiving devices are designed to precisely prepare belt surfaces for Thermofix joining of non‑thermoplastic belts, ensuring optimal bonding conditions and reliable joint quality. The range supports accurate material removal, controlled surface finishing, and consistent preparation across different belt types, widths, and thicknesses, both in the workshop and on site.

The portfolio covers solutions from the AT‑60 manual skiving tool, based on a grinding disc for belts up to 60 mm wide and 2 mm thick, to more automated devices such as the A‑600 belt‑sander‑based unit for belts up to 600 mm wide and 6 mm thick.
