To support growth in our engineering team, we are looking for a Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer (with electrical bias) to work at our production site in Bingley, West Yorkshire.
Habasit is a world-leading manufacturer of conveyor and power transmission systems, and the belts we make in Bingley are shipped all over the world to customers from a variety of industries.Our on-site engineering team work hard to ensure that breakdowns are rare and are addressed promptly, and that scheduled maintenance can be carried out with limited impact on production.
What you'll bring to the team:
As our new Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer, you will bring previous experience in a hands-on maintenance role, diagnosing problems and tackling a variety of mechanical and electrical faults. You will already be qualified to Level 3 in Electrical Engineering or a similar discipline. See a full list of essentials for the role below.

- Demonstrable experience in a maintenance engineering role in a manufacturing environment - Essential
- Level 3 or higher qualification in electrical engineering or related discipline - Essential
- A wide range of technical knowledge and the initiative to research topics to find solutions - Desirable
- High levels of attention to detail and accuracy - Essential
- Ability to communicate effectively and collaborate with other teams on and off site; eg production, planning, warehouse - Essential
- Health & Safety qualification - Desirable

Hours of work:
- Combination of 6.00 -14.00 (five days) and 12.00 - 22.00 (four days) on a rota basis
