Your main challenges

  • Create an overall plan, including the rationale, objectives, resources, timelines and budget before getting the business case approved
  • Define the business model, the right methodology and potential risks and roadblocks to set up the right paths to go around them
  • Identify potential partners, build up strong partnerships and develop even more that network
  • Ensure a close follow-up of the business case at a technical and commercial level while leading the project team for achieving the goals
  • Conduct the commercial launch and continuously search for target markets and help creating competitive intelligence

What we look for

You have 10 years of experience ideally in a Start-up or at least in an early stage industry with new business development. You have a mechanical or chemical engineering education with business background.

You demonstrate an entrepreneurial attitude. You have a proven track record in project management. You like to move forward in a fast-paced environment while taking unconventional paths to achieve your goals.

You have a strong customer orientation with strategic ability and execution skills. You are curious, business driven and have a strong leadership with high social competencies. You are able to collaborate across functions and regions in a complex operating organization. You enjoy meeting people in a multicultural environment (travels will be planned up to 50%). You are fluent in English. Any other foreign language is an asset.
