Responsibilities

  • Lead developments projects and implement designs from the conceptual phase through prototype, qualification, and into production
  • Develop technical solutions for conveyor systems and calculate measurable results to make objective design decisions
  • Communicate team members and other internal customer about project status
  • Develop test plans to evaluate the performance of materials, components, and systems
  • Complete (with some assistance at first) the solution development, including:
    • Internal Estimates
    • Concept Drawings
    • Simulations
    • Proof of Concept Demonstrations
    • Technical Proposals
    • Product Specifications
  • Participate in Site Surveys, Project Kickoffs and Presentations

Profile

  • University education in Engineering
  • Sound knowledge of 3 D CAD system (preferred Creo)
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience as an engineer
  • Knowledge of conveyor system design, parcel sorting networks, and/or parcel sortation technology
  • Knowledge of both electrical controls and mechanical conveyor systems of advantage
  • Team- and open-minded person
  • Highly self-motivated and proactive personality
  • Long term oriented and with power of endurance
  • Flexible and well-organized
  • Very good English skills, Basic German skills required
