Role description

The mission of Head of HR is to provide, lead and support employee life cycle management, support the business and managers, and ensure close alignment of people related policies, processes, and systems to the Habasit strategic direction with a focus on cultural alignment and organizational design.

Your main challenges

  • Management and control of HR processes and employee life cycle (including payroll) for 2 Main locations in UK (Elland & Bingley plus a hand full of small service centres)
  • Undertake projects in HR area and support regional/global HR in designing and implementing processes and projects
  • Foster a positive working environment and support the local management team
  • Overseeing and management of employee benefits and compensation
  • Ensure legal compliance throughout human resource management
  • Development and implementation of HR strategies, policies and initiatives aligned with the overall business strategy
  • Preparation and control of personnel budgets and usual KPI´s
  • Identification of needs of the business and delivery of appropriate HR measures, solutions and support
  • Management and support of the recruitment and selection process for local and global roles
  • Support current and future business needs through the development, engagement, motivation and preservation of human capital
  • Provide business partnership and coaching to all levels of the organization
  • Leading negotiations on various staff topics (Non unionised environment)
  • Plan, design and manage employer branding activities inside and outside the organization

What we look for

  • Fellow/member of the Chartered Institute of Personnel & Development, Degree in Human Resources or related field
  • Relevant experience as a Head of HR or HRBP in production company minimum 5-10 years at a senior level
  • Experience in the implementation and optimization of HR processes
  • Competence to build and effectively manage interpersonal relationships at all levels of the company
  • High cooperation skills, persuasiveness and a strongly-developed communication ability
  • Excellent active listening, negotiation and presentation skills
  • In-depth knowledge of employment law and HR best practices
  • Quick grasp and good analytical skills
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work with employees on different levels of the organization
