Intended use of Habasit Adhesives

The following table is an overview on Habasit adhesives and their main use for joining and fabrication. It covers with few exceptions all of the current Thermofix joinings of Habasit conveyor and power transmission belting. The respective Material Safety Data Sheets (MSDS) can be found here. For application details and belt preparation / adhesive processing consult the Joining Data Sheet of the respective belt.

    Shelf Life

The expiry date is printed in the form mm.yyyy together with the batch number (e.g.: "exp 05.2010" means use before May 2010).

The expiration date applied to the chemicals supplied by Habasit indicates the time limit for which Habasit is confident that the condition of the chemical will provide optimal results for the task that it is intended perform. Beyond the indicated date, the degree of uncertainty for attaining optimal results exceeds our established confidence level for the chemical to do so as chemical efficacy tends to degrade over time based on relevant storage conditions. Maintaining chemicals in a cool, dark, dry place prior to use will help ensure optimal quality up to date of expiration.
